DevBlog #15: Pirates and other mapping

A friendly hello to all readers, again another week of may is over, now already half of the month is over again. This week is Father's Day in Germany, which means: No work! So actually it can only be a relaxed week, right? To my Progress-Update of last week:

1.) One (English) short game more!

Yes, I have published a new short game on itch and on NewGrounds: "Pirate Pete's Treasure Task". This English game is about slipping into the roles of pirate newcomer Pete. He has been given the task by his new crew to decipher clues (there are about 400 different combinations of riddles allready in the game) and find a small crew treasure. Only then can he become a member of the crew. Otherwise he only makes acquaintance with the sharks.

It was developed with the RPG-Maker MV and has a playing time of about 5-10 minutes per run. The game is in the demo phase, a full version will experience much more puzzles and maybe be made even more beautiful with some effects. Otherwise I thank you already at this point for over 480 views in such a short time! Here a small screenshot from the small info:

Even pirates have something to offer to show off

2.) Mapping and story progress

"Heroes of Magic Time" is also making progress with the revisions and adaptations. So here you can see a first attempt of a tile set change:

The water isn't that pretty yet, which has already been adapted, and there are a few detail changes here and there, which will be visible in the finished version. Otherwise this is no comparison to before. Also in terms of story there have been at least some small progress. So there are new dialogues around the good cat lady Christa and her ravenous appetite for pizza. Why this might not be to everyone's liking, you will find out in the new update.

Well, at this point, I'm done for the day. I think you can see the progress of development quite well. Everything is on the way and promises to become great. Now I wish you all a good start to the week. If you like what you read here, think about a follow and/or a donation via my new ko-fi site (ko-fi.com/gamemakingdizzy).
